THE ARTISTS

We are excited to participate and collaborate at the 2022 Bombay Beach Biennale. As artists from the Owens Valley,
we are living the future the Salton Sea doesn’t want to be.  By 1926, Owens Lake was completely drained by LA DWP.
For decades now, Inyo County has been working to control the hazardous dust problem caused by this environmental catastrophe.

We hope our installation can be an engaging and playful catalyst for conversation,
inspiring clean-up, & helping connect relevant folksto help prevent the same thing from happening at the Salton Sea.
